It looks like Ashlee will definitely be starring in the Broadway play 'Chicago' after all. She'll be performing in London which is GREAT news for you Ashlee fans in the UK! Here's the story.
It's official, Ashlee Simpson has signed on to play Roxie Hart in the London run of the musical Chicago.
After weeks of speculation, Simpson recently kicked off rehearsals for the legendary musical in a NY City studio.
"Yes, it is true. Ashlee Simpson is joining the cast of Chicago in London. "We are very excited and are looking forward to gauging the London audience reaction", Contactmusic quoted Chicago producer Barry Weissler, as telling to American publication Star.
Miss Simpson will reportedly appear onstage in October in London's West End.
"Ashlee's a dancer; her background is in dance. She wants to do live theatre. "This will put all of those critics to rest. She's always wanted to be on stage, but she got diverted when she started selling so many albums", a source said.

I saw this news yesterday on mtv! I did not know that it was my fave singer ashlee! That is so cool that shes in a play at broadway! I wish her good luck!
